January 9, 2007 - Abinvest staff took part in an important conference about the relations of the new liberalized markets with the global economy
Albinvest staff took part in an important conference held by the Chamber of Commerce, the Science Academia and Albinvest. This conference was a useful co-operates between Albinvest and two important institutions as are the chamber of commerce and the science academia, one of the important state institutions, to find new solutions and new alternatives to attract foreign investment and to grow up the economy of the country. The main aim of the conference was the relations of the new liberalized markets with the global economy. The lecturer was the Russian born, American professor of the American University in Washington, Prof. Vladimir Kvint. The conference was centered at the global market, new economies, and the role of them to capture part of the economy in the world. It was also stressed the importance of Albania in the European economy, and the potential it holds to attract foreign investments and increase exports. An important solution for the energy crises was also discussed. Prof. Vladimir talks about ethanol, as a solution to hydro energy that Albania currently relies on.
